Goodwill Honors EHOB with 2010 Employment Connections Award

EHOB was honored on May 19 with the Goodwill Industries of Central Indiana’s Employment Connections Award. This award honors employers that have demonstrated outstanding concern for persons who have barriers to employment and have taken action to provide employment assistance through Goodwill. In 2008, EHOB contracted with Goodwill Commercial Services to provide outsourcing services. The partnership allows EHOB to cost-effectively meet its increasing demand while increasing jobs for people with disabilities and limited vocational options at Goodwill. Today, more than 15 people with a variety of barriers have jobs, 80 ex-offenders have gained enough work experience to transition to other jobs, and four people have become permanent, full-time employees.
